The collab with LFB was the first of two Separate projects which saw Patrick work with organisations entirely unrelated to the world of high fashion.

On September 18th, 2021, the exclusive collaboration between London Fire Brigade and Patrick McDowell was unveiled in Euston Fire Station. The event was intended to mark London Pride and London Fashion week. The event exhibited large scale photographs of LFB’s LGBTQIA+ members and allies, celebrating their continued hard work, whilst wearing Patrick’s Firefighting Aunties collection. Photographed by Lou Jasmin the exhibition portrayed a celebration of British creative talent and highlighted the cities appreciation of its queer firefighting members.
